A World of Whiskey Awaits at Jameson Distillery Midleton

Our thoughts are with the communities, people and businesses in the Midleton and wider East Cork region who have been affected by the unprecedented and devastating flooding which occurred on October 18th.

As a result, we can confirm that Midleton Distillery Experience is closed. The site was damaged due to flooding and we are currently working to understand the extent of the damage.

Our teams in Dublin and Midleton are working hard to ensure the continued safety of colleagues and the protection of our sites. We remain in close contact with all relevant local bodies.

Unfortunately, all tours & experiences scheduled for the coming days have been cancelled. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

If your tour/experience has been impacted you can contact us directly at bookings@midletondistilleryexperience.com.

As always, the health & safety of our team and customers is our top priority. We would like to thank you for your patience and support.

We will post further updates on our socials and website in due course.

Best regards,
Midleton Distillery Experience Team

Midleton Distillery in Co. Cork is the beating heart of Irish whiskey, home to some of the world’s most well-known and successful Irish whiskeys, including Jameson, Powers, Redbreast, Midleton Very Rare, the Spot family and Method and Madness.

It’s the place of whiskey-making dreams, where a true Irish welcome awaits. You are invited to take one of the fully guided tours around the amazing heritage grounds. These include the ‘Jameson Experience Tour’ which brings you through the original distillery buildings and concludes with a Jameson signature drink.

Add on a ‘Premium Whiskey Tasting’ or ‘Cask Opening’ to enhance the experience even further. For those who want to go deeper, a great option is the extended ‘Behind the Scenes’ tour, during which you’ll discover hidden gems behind closed doors. With several fully immersive experiences on offer, there is something for everyone who wishes to learn more about Ireland’s world-famous spirit.

A €13 million investment project is currently underway at Midleton Distillery which will see the redevelopment of its visitor experience, transforming the attraction into a world-class whiskey destination. The redevelopment will also deliver state-of-the-art new shopping, bar, whiskey tasting and restaurant facilities – all due to open during 2023. In the meantime, all guided tours and experiences will continue as normal. We look forward to welcoming you to the home of Irish whiskey.
