Belfast's Newest Maritime Attraction

HMS Caroline is a five star-rated visitor attraction based in Belfast’s Titanic Quarter. Step on-board and see a dynamic film showing the drama and devastation a battle can bring.

Explore the impressively recreated cabins that have been restored as if the crew left the ship yesterday, listen in on the everyday sounds in the Officers’ cabins and enjoy interactive exhibits throughout the ship.

Experience the charm of the historic spaces that have been recreated to look as they did in 1916, the year HMS Caroline took part in one of the largest naval battles in history, the Battle of Jutland, of which she is the sole survivor.

  • HMS Caroline is one of eight C-class light-cruisers that were ordered under the Admiralty’s 1913-1914 construction programme
  • View the impressively recreated Captain’s Quarters, Marine’s Mess, and Wash, as well as the Sick Bay and Galley Kitchen
  • Try your hand at using a First World War signal lamp
  • Descend into the engine rooms and experience the space as it would have been in 1916.
