Set on the stunning Hook Peninsula in Wexford, Loftus Hall is fast becoming one of the South East’s must see tourist attractions.
Renowned as Ireland’s Most Haunted House, visitors can take a 45 minute interactive tour where a tour guide will take them through the ground floor, revealing the fascinating history and the long told Legend of Loftus Hall.
Loftus Hall sits on 5 acres of walled gardens, since spring 2016 work has been on going to re-instate these gardens to their former glory. This has included extensive planting of box hedges, herbaceous borders, a fairy trail for kids, the completion of Queen Victoria’s Garden to the front of the house and the Parterre Garden and Shrubbery in the main gardens.
Ely’s at Loftus Hall is a bright spacious cafe offering a selection of speciality sandwiches, hot and cold drinks and desserts, which can also be enjoyed in the newly covered courtyard.
