The enchanting Loop Head Lighthouse is located at the tip of the Loop Head Peninsula at the furthest point west on the Clare coastline and is a discovery point along the spectacular Wild Atlantic Way.
Visitors have the opportunity to be guided to the top of the Lighthouse and take in the magnificent views.
An exhibition focusing on the history of Irish Lighthouses and the people who have operated them since the 17th century is located in one of the Light Keeper’s Cottages. Other highlights in the locality include the Bridges of Ross, an important habitat for cliff nestling birds.
