Discover a region that has been Shaped by Sea & Stone located.

Mid & East Antrim is indeed a land that has been shaped by Sea & Stone, from the awe-inspiring Gobbins Cliff Path to the magnificent Carrickfergus Castle and Slemish Mountain, this is a region which provides visitors with the magic ingredient – Authenticity.

As well as great attractions the region offers a range of experiences from Whiskey Tasting in Ireland’s oldest thatched pub to bow making or blacksmithing. Why not try something totally different and climb up a waterfall or just sit back and take in the view across to Scotland from the famous Glens of Antrim.

If food and drink is your thing, then you will not be disappointed. With award-winning Beef and Salmon at Glenarm Castle, locally produced craft beer at Hillstown Brewery or for the adventurous why not try the local delicacy, Lough Neagh Eels. All of this and more can be organised for groups or individuals.

One thing you cannot miss in this region is the Game of Thrones locations. Go back to the very beginning and see the location where Ned Stark struck of the head of a Black Watch deserter, or see the steps where Arya Stark ascended after being stabbed in Braavos. You can then visit the bar where she relaxed between shoots. Or why not visit the Silversmiths where they made some of the jewellery for the show including Joffrey’s Crown.

With a wide range of accommodation including 4* deluxe Hotel resorts, award-winning B&B’s and beautifully located Self Catering properties this is a great place to base yourself
