Take a guided tour of the working silverware factory and learn about the time-honoured processes and true-life stories that lie at the heart of one of Ireland’s most treasured brands. Visitors on the 45 minute guided tour will move through the working factory floor and meet some of the crafts people behind the coveted collections. Newbridge Silverware, originally Newbridge Cutlery, was established in 1934 and is one of Ireland’s oldest surviving companies. Some of the team have been there for three generations. This is an opportunity to experience the precision craft of manufacturing tableware and jewellery, which is virtually unchanged over the past 85 years.
Enjoy FREE entry to the Museum of Style Icons, which houses one of the greatest private collections of original style, fashion and popular culture artefacts in the world. Immerse yourself in the finest couture and original items which once belonged to Audrey Hepburn, Princess Diana, Marilyn Monroe, Princess Grace, Elvis, The Beatles and many more screen and music legends.
Enjoy a self guided tour of this rare collection displayed in one of the world’s most memorable museums. It all started with fashion’s most enduring look; the little black dress worn by Audrey Hepburn in the movie Charade (1963) which was acquired by Newbridge Silverware in 2006. The collection has grown to include garments, letters, design drawings and original prints that once belonged to the most iconic women and men in the world.
