As you explore the Wild Atlantic Way of Cahersiveen you will immediately see some important landmarks such as The Old Barracks, Ballycarbery Castle and Knocknadobar Mountain. Try sea kayaking or canoeing to bring you around the scenic Fertha estuary or even out to the mouth of the Valentia harbour. Enjoy the views from your sea kayak or canoe as you create memorable memories out on the water.
If you want more adventure then how about the increasingly popular sport of Stand Up Paddle boarding. Explore the water on your feet and see Cahersiveen from a whole new angle. This sport is fun for all ages and abilities. No previous experience is required to join in the SUP sessions!
Located along the Wild Atlantic Way and the famous Ring of Kerry, Cahersiveen is best known as the town that climbs the mountain and looks upon the sea! Within the vibrant town, friendly locals will welcome you. There is a wide range of cafés, pubs, restaurants and accommodation in Cahersiveen.
