The People’s Museum of Limerick is a new museum at No.2 Pery Square, which aims to reflect the diverse lives of the people, buildings, and streets of the city. It showcases an eclectic and fascinating collection of items in the care of Limerick Civic Trust, as well as artefacts that are on loan from elsewhere. A rotating series of exhibitions means that there is always something new to see. The museum is housed in a fully-restored splendid late Georgian townhouse, which formed part of a tontine scheme in the early nineteenth century. The walls here can talk!
