The Aran Islands & Cliffs of Moher from Galway

Aran Island Ferries sail on the biggest ferries with up to 400 seats from two locations in Galway, Ros a’Mhíl (Rossaveel) Harbour in Connemara, where multiple daily ferry transfers are available year-round to all three of the Aran Islands, Inis Mór, Inis Meáin and Inis Oírr. From Galway city centre, Aran Island Ferries operate a seasonal sailing to Inis Mór, the largest of the three Aran Islands with a unique cruise by the world-famous Cliffs of Moher, which is part-guided.

If you want to take a tour on the island, the minibus tour is a wonderful way to enjoy the island at a picture friendly pace. Your driver is a local, and full of the myths, fables and stories of the ancient island, so don’t be afraid to chat and ask as many questions as you have.
