The largest working windmill in Ireland

Blennerville Windmill was restored to working order in the 1980s and is the largest working windmill in Ireland. Tour numbers are restricted to 4 individuals or family groups during the pandemic. It is advisable to book in advance.

Learn the history of the area, see the audio visual, exhibition on emigration and the Jeannie Johnson, and take a guided tour of the Windmill. Visit the Kerry Model Railway or Café. Watch herons, egrets and more from the bird watching platform overlooking “Slí na nÉan” – “The Way of the Birds”.
