The town is the gateway to the Loop Head Peninsula, a slender finger of land pointing out to Clare’s most westerly point, Loop Head Lighthouse. Along the way you can experience some of West Clare’s most popular visitor attractions including the spectacular natural sea arches at the Bridges of Ross, the Church of the Little Ark in Kilbaha, and the beautiful village of Carrigaholt.
