Discover the story of Patrick Lafcadio Hearn, Japan’s best known Irish man and renowned writer. These Authentic Japanese Gardens overlook Tramore Beach in the popular seaside town of Tramore.

You can follow Hearn’s life journey through eleven unique garden areas and via the symbolism of the rocks, planting and Japanese architectural features, you will be transported into another world. Children can enjoy a magical discovery and fairy trail, secret pathways, woodlands and Japanese folklore and fairytales.
