Lough Key Forest Park encompasses a cluster of unique attractions offering gentle leisurely pursuits or energetic activities - do as much or as little as you like!

Lough Key is delighted to open for the 2020 summer season!

Bringing the indoors to the great outdoors, we have adapted our services and amenities to now operate outside. Soak up the stunning lakeside views from our new Terrace area where you can have lunch and coffee from our Food Truck.

Be blown away by the views from the Moylurg Tower and experience Ireland’s only Tree Canopy Walk as it gently rises above the forest floor.

Other activities in the park include the Zipit Forest Adventures, an aerial obstacle course through the trees with zip lines and electric bike trails with bikes for hire

We have walking trail maps and kids fun fact maps available from our information booth as there are many beautiful structures to see in the park. Most recently the cycle way has been completed from Lough Key Forest Park to Boyle, a fantastic 8km track through the beautiful forest and scenery.

  • Lough Key food truck with outdoor seating on our Terrace with Stunning views over Lough Key & Castle Island
  • Coffee Cart, our colourful cart serving hot beverages including Puro organic Fairtrade coffee
