The Milk Market is one of Ireland’s oldest and most famous markets. Located on the same courtyard in the heart of Limerick city since the 1830s and officially established in 1852. Local producers and traders have been selling fresh, natural foods and other produce for generations at this city market.
On Saturday the famous Food Market is filled with over 80 traders where you’ll discover farm fresh fruit & veg, great cheeses & chutneys, just-caught fish, artisan meats, organics, delicious healthy breads, raw milk, fresh pressed juices and honey.
On Sunday the venue is open as a family-orientated courtyard with a fantastic brunch offering in addition to boutique and vintage clothes shops, flowers and regular free Art/Record Fairs and Family Fun events to keep an eye on social media.
On Friday the venue is open with a number of cafes, artisan shops and independent units open features fresh and natural food produce, street food, rustic coffee shops and flowers with live music lunch sessions and more.
Most events are free apart from occasional ticketed night time concerts or Charity/Speciality events.
