Combine a visit to the National Museum of Ireland – Country Life with a Greenway cycle for a great day out. Start your day on the shores of Lough Lannagh, Castlebar, and pedal or hike along the 10km, riverside route through peaceful countryside and farmland.

Arrive to the spectacular Victorian gardens and parkland of Turlough Park and then visit Ireland’s National Folklife Collection at the Museum. Designed for shared use by walkers, joggers and cyclists, the trail is classed as easy to moderate. It is waymarked using fingerpost signage with blue text and symbols on a white background.
