The Father Patrick Peyton C.S.C Memorial Centre

The Father Peyton Memorial Centre is dedicated to the life of Venerable Patrick Peyton, a local man who became known worldwide as ‘The Rosary Priest’.

Discover how this humble priest harnessed the power of Hollywood to motivate and inspire the movie stars, who put their considerable influence behind his simple message ‘The Family that Prays Together Stays Together’.

He recognised the potential of future greats giving George Lucas of Star Wars fame and James Dean their first film credits in his Hollywood studio ‘The Family Theatre’.

The centre is nestled at the foot of the scenic Ox Mountains and surrounded by lakes and the River Moy, which is beautifully maintained by the local angling association. Self-guided Loop Walks available.
